AAA Theatre

AAA Theatre: An Overview

AAA Theatre believes in the well-rounded theatre artist.

We work with our students to discover, create, adapt, and express themselves in any situation - whether it be in theatre or in life. Theatre assists in teaching important life-skills, such as creative problem solving, communication, and empathy.

Students are involved in every area of theatre - costumes, props, hair & makeup, set construction, scenic art, lighting, sound, performing, writing, and even designing, directing and choreographing.

AAA Theatre produces a 10 Minute Play Festival, a competition one act play, a mainstage musical, and a mainstage play in a year, along with many FUN events for the entire family!

We hope to see you at the theatre!

THE TEAM

Meet the team behind AAA Theatre!

Mr. Josh Feemster
AAA Theatre
Director

[email protected]
I am a teaching artist who has been at the Academy since 2017. I have been immersed in theatre for about 20 years. I participated in theatre all through middle and high school and worked in theatre at both the college level and professionally. I love to travel, read, and learn new things. I cannot wait to get to work with as many students and faculty members as possible and explore theatre together; through empathy, ensemble, and hands on experience.

My name is Jeff Stricklin. I grew up in Huntsville. I graduated from Lee High School with my twin sister Jenny. Our older sister Shelby graduated from Grissom. My wife and I have been married since 2006 and our daughter was born in 2009. I didn't know I wanted to be a teacher until 2013, but since then it has been everything I wanted and more. I only wish I'd known sooner. I'm extremely excited to be working with such a strong and dedicated faculty and look forward to many more years together.
