AAA Theatre: An Overview

AAA Theatre believes in the well-rounded theatre artist.

We work with our students to discover, create, adapt, and express themselves in any situation - whether it be in theatre or in life. Theatre assists in teaching important life-skills, such as creative problem solving, communication, and empathy.

Students are involved in every area of theatre - costumes, props, hair & makeup, set construction, scenic art, lighting, sound, performing, writing, and even designing, directing and choreographing.

AAA Theatre produces a 10 Minute Play Festival, a competition one act play, a mainstage musical, and a mainstage play in a year, along with many FUN events for the entire family!

We hope to see you at the theatre!

Volunteer Opportunities!

All volunteers are coordinated through our #AAAmazing theatre booster organization, Academy Children's Theatre (ACT)!
Volunteers are an instrumental part of our program, without you we would not be able to put on the quality of productions we do. We always need help no matter your skill level. We will help you and train you. We hope to see you at the theatre!

My name is Jeff Stricklin. I grew up in Huntsville. I graduated from Lee High School with my twin sister Jenny. Our older sister Shelby graduated from Grissom. My wife and I have been married since 2006 and our daughter was born in 2009. I didn't know I wanted to be a teacher until 2013, but since then it has been everything I wanted and more. I only wish I'd known sooner. I'm extremely excited to be working with such a strong and dedicated faculty and look forward to many more years together.
