Technical Theatre: An Overview

AAA Theatre believes in the well-rounded theatre artist.​We work with our students to discover, create, adapt, and express themselves in any situation - whether it be in theatre or in life. Theatre assists in teaching important life-skills, such as creative problem solving, communication, and empathy. 

Students are involved in every area of theatre - costumes, props, hair & makeup, set construction, scenic art, lighting, sound, performing, writing, and even designing, directing and choreographing.

AAA Theatre produces a 10 Minute Play Festival, a competition one act play, a mainstage musical, ​and a mainstage play in a year, along with many FUN events for the entire family!

Meet the Teacher:
Mr. Jeff Stricklin

My name is Jeff Stricklin. I grew up in Huntsville. I graduated from Lee High School with my twin sister Jenny. Our older sister Shelby graduated from Grissom. My wife and I have been married since 2006 and our daughter was born in 2009. I didn't know I wanted to be a teacher until 2013, but since then it has been everything I wanted and more. I only wish I'd known sooner. I'm extremely excited to be working with such a strong and dedicated faculty and look forward to many more years together.
